Hi Colleen,
I’ve really enjoyed your articles. I’m descended from John Mullin , shoemaker, who was a neighbor of your Wolf family in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. What caught my eye when I first read your history of Johann Jonas Wolf was his mother’s surname, Orth. I spent part of a summer researching an Orth line here in Ohio. A descendant of the first Orth settler here became the head of the Ohio Roads and Bridges. He was a friend of my husband’s grandmother. They were very hard working people and well educated. I’m looking forward to reading more. Marie Reedy
I am also from Heinrich Ritter. I descend from his son, Caspar. Heinrich lived in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh County, PA. He went to Jerusalem Western Salisbury Union Church in Salisbury. This church goes back into the 1740s when the area was first settled. Heinrich and his brothers attended church in 1740s and 1750s at School house at Dillingersville, Lehigh County, PA. It was the forerunner of Old Zionsville Churches in Lehigh County, PA
I have a lot of information on the ritter
