Patrick Coyle, son of Michael Coyle & Mary Cunningham, born 20 May 1841 in County Cavan, Ireland, died 21 June 1925 in Connecticut. Wife: Margaret Brady, born c. 1855 in County Cavan, Ireland, died 22 November 1934 in CT. [daughter of Thomas & Catherine (Gibney) Brady].
From 1870 – 1883 seven children were born to Patrick & Margaret. Patrick arrived in the USA from Ireland on 19 October 1885.On 21 May 1886 his wife and children joined him in the USA. From 1887 – 1894 four more children were born to Patrick & Margaret. Between 1894 – 1900 they were living at 19 Ridge Street, Waterbury, CT. On 24 October 1896 Patrick Coyle became a US citizen. 1904 – 1912 they were still on Ridge Street with Margaret operating a grocery store at that location.. In 1920 the Patrick Coyle family was living on Wood Street in Waterbury, CT. The census said Patrick could not read or write but his wife could. Patrick & Margaret also owned a home in Milford, CT. Patrick died in Milford on 21 June 1925. He & Margaret are buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford, CT.
