William Paul Coyle was born 29 June 1894 in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was the youngest child of Patrick Coyle and Margaret Brady. On 1 October 1912 he married Lauretta Niail in Waterbury, CT. In 1920 William was a plumber. He rented a home at 83 Wood Street in Waterbury. In 1930 he was “an operator in the motion picture industry.” He and Lauretta had two children.
