Gruissy

My great grandparents were Thomas K. & N. Regina (Gruissy) Mark. Therefore, the Mark & Gruissy families are linked in my family lines. The Gruissy family is difficult to research because the name is spelled differently in every record. It can be seen as: Grusey, Creesy, Greelys, Gruissy, Gruissi, Greasys, Creasy. There are few family members & hard to find. The family had its roots in Switzerland and moved to Ohio.

Read about the Gruissy family:

  • Augustus Ceaser Gruissy 1840 – 1915
  • Christian Gruissy b 1792
  • Christian Gruissy 1811 – 1907
  • Esther B (Wolf) Gruissy 1836 – 1906
  • N. Regina (Gruissy) Mark 1879 – 1959
  • Philip M. Creasy b 1867

Read more about this branch of our family in my book. ‘The Mark Family Story’.
