He was the son of <a title=\"William Mark 1844 \u2013 1904\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pasqualefamily.net\/web\/mark\/william-mark-1844-1904\">William Mark<\/a> and <a title=\"Elidia Rebecca (Ritter) Mark 1854 \u2013 1912\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pasqualefamily.net\/web\/ritter\/elidia-rebecca-ritter-mark\">Elidia Rebecca Ritter<\/a>. On 28 April 1914 he married Lillian Myrtle Hoverstock.
