He was the son of <a title=\"William Mark 1844 \u2013 1904\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pasqualefamily.net\/web\/mark\/william-mark-1844-1904\">William Mark<\/a> and <a title=\"Elidia Rebecca (Ritter) Mark 1854 \u2013 1912\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pasqualefamily.net\/web\/ritter\/elidia-rebecca-ritter-mark\">Elidia Rebecca Ritter<\/a>. On 31 December 1924 he married Effie Margaret Carter. They had eleven children. James is buried in <a title=\"Wooster Cemetery, Ohio\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pasqualefamily.net\/web\/cemeteries\/wooster-cemetery-ohio\">Wooster Cemetery<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Obituary for James:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;J. E. Mark, 72, PCA Retiree.\u00a0 James E. Mark died Tuesday evening on his 72nd birthday at the Wooster Community Hospital.\u00a0 He had been ill since July.\u00a0 He was born in Overton to WIlliam and Rebecca Mark.\u00a0 A member of Baptist Church he had lived in the Wooster area all his life.\u00a0 He was retired in 1961 from the Packaging Corporation of America in Rittman.\u00a0 Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wynn and Mrs. Daryl Proesser, both of Mansfield: four sons, Marion J. and Harold D., both of Wooster, Fred L. Orrville, Sgt. Milo on leave from the U. S. Army: ten grandchildren: three brothers, Amos of New Pittsburg, Guy of Burbank and Tom of Wadsworth.\u00a0 His wife, Effie, died April 5, 1966.\u00a0 A brother Charles died previously.\u00a0 services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at McIntire Funeral Home with Rev.
